DIY Gold chain necklace

DIY time!

Oh actually, before that, did you guys have a great thanksgiving? It's my fav NorthAmerican holiday (including black Friday clearly) and I am pissed on a yearly basis that we don't have it here in Norway.

You will need:
4 big jump rings
4 metal rope ends (with holes to fasten with jump rings)
Super glue
Thick chain
Big'ish jewelry clasp
Some rope in a color you love.

I love blue and gold together, so I found this great blue silk rope.

Cut two equally long pieces of rope (it depends on how long you want your necklace) and glue one "metal rope end" to each of the ends of the rope. (Sometimes explaining how I make things is a bit of s struggle, hahaha)

Mine took some time to dry, but it was all worth it in the end.

Attach the rope to the chain with a jump ring.

Do the same on the opposit side.

Add jump rings to the opposite side as well, we will use those to fasten the clasp.

Have an amazing weekend!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I choose the supplies for this post myself at Perlehuset without having to pay for it. All opinions are my own. I would never feature projects that I didn’t love, created and wore myself.
